Part Exchange
Do you do part exchange?
Yes, we provide a part exchange facility. Our advice to all our customers is that if they can sell their cars privately to do so. Generally you will get more from a private sale than we can offer you. We sell all our Part Exchange cars to the trade and will give you what we are offered. If you come to visit us we will show you the Glass’s and CAP trade values.
We are happy to deal with your Part Exchange as selling a used car is generally difficult to do. However, if you wish to do so we will advise you on the best way and recommend selling prices.
What guarantee do I have, buying a car online?
We operate as a subsidiary of Brighton Suzuki who have operated as a family based business in Brighton and Hove for over 10 years. Our Premises in Hove boasts one of the largest showrooms on the south coast. We have a fully equipped work shop with the facility to undertake MOTs. We invite you to visit us so we can explain our services in person. We have been piloting this service for nearly 2 years and have sold nearly 200 cars; to date we have only had 1 customer who has asked for a refund.
All our cars are HPI checked and have a 101 point mechanical inspection and new MOT, new Service and Automatic 3 month warranty.

How long have you been around?
Brighton Suzuki has been operating for over 10 years and has substantial premise at 267 Old Shoreham Road in Hove. The Virtual Car Superstore has been operating for just under 2 years. During this time we have sold several hundred cars to satisfied customers many of whom could not believe the service we offer.

How does the money back guarantee work?
We're sure you'll be delighted with your car. But if not, don't worry. If after delivery you decide the car is not for you return the car within 7 days and we will refund your money. How's that for peace of mind?
However there are some conditions which I think you will find reasonable:
- Please contact the Virtual Car Superstore within seven calendar days of taking delivery of your car if you intend to return it.
- Don't exceed 500 miles from the point of delivery to the point of return, please.
- Try to return the car in the same condition we delivered it. There will be a charge for any cosmetic or mechanical damage.
- We will not be able to refund the payment fee on Credit cards, Cash payments
- Any accessory or insurance backed product will not be refunded.
- If you have committed to a finance option, there may be early termination fees.
- Your refund will be paid as soon as we receive the V5 registration document from you.
Buying a car
How is my Deposit treated
Deposit are paid on the following scale

Your deposit is your commitment to us to go and inspect the car we have found for you and which you have agreed to purchase. Before we travel to inspect the car we carry out an HPI search to ensure the car is free from any encumbrances and has not been involved in a categorised insurance claim.
In the overwhelming number of cases the description of the car is very accurate, however if on our inspection the car does not match up to our requirements we do not purchase the vehicle. In this situation we offer a full refund of your deposit or ask you if you want us to find another car for you.
We are meticulous in our description and inspection of the vehicle, in the event the car we supply does not match the description we give then we will refund your deposit.
However, if you fail to take and pay for the car within 21 days of notification that the car is available for delivery, we may treat the contract as cancelled and keep any deposit paid by you.

Do you charge for credit card transactions?
Yes. If you wish to pay for your car by credit card, a 2.0% fee applies to cover bank processing costs. Payments by debit card do not incur this fee.
What are my payment options?
You can fund your car using the following methods:
1) Apply for Finance at our dealership
The finance section of the site is currently under construction and will be available shortly
There is a finance calculator in the system which you may use to calculate approximate . When you visit us we will complete a more detailed finance proposal using LloydsTSB or Barclays Bank systems.
2) Other payment options
You can make your payment to MaxMatt Ltd using the following payment methods. We charge fees for certain payment methods according to the associated costs. There are 3 free payment methods - debit card, Bank transfers (BACS) and Bank transfers (CHAPS). Please see below for rates.

Have your cars been checked?
Every car listed on virtualcarsuperstore.co.uk is HPI checked and has successfully passed a 101 point mechanical inspection. You can therefore be assured that the car has a clear title and has not been previously written off for insurance purposes.
Does it have a Full Service History?
Not all the cars have a full service history especially those which are older than 3 years. We will tell you exactly what history is available.
When was this car last serviced?
As part of our service unless the car has been serviced within the last 3 months we will give it a new service.
Does it have an MOT?
Every car we sell will be given a new MOT.
Are the tyres legal?
Yes, this is one of the points in our 101 point inspection and MOT.
Do you offer an extended warranty?
We do offer an automatic 3 month warranty underwritten by ourselves. However, an extended warranty package with an inclusive roadside assistance is available. (Please check our Warranty page for more details).
What if the car is not exactly as described?
We are meticulous about how we describe the car, our buyers are very experienced, if when we inspect the car it does not meet our standards, which happens occasionally, we walk away from the car and offer to refund your deposit or find you another car. Wherever possible we will provide detailed photographs of the car before we go to inspect it ourselves.
Why don’t you have any photographs of the car?
As the car is not physically stored with us it is not possible to photograph it at this stage. However in the process of searching for cars we can frequently get photographs which we will send to you by e-mail.

Can I come and visit you?
Yes. In fact we encourage you to visit us so you can see for yourself how we operate.
Must the car be paid for before being delivered?
Yes. Don't forget that you benefit from a money back guarantee valid for 7 days after delivery.
Must the car be taxed before delivery?
Yes, we can arrange this for you. In addition we can arrange for you to have 7 days free insurance cover with Norwich Union. (Please ask us for details)
What happens if I'm not happy with the car after delivery?
You have a money back guarantee for 7 days after delivery. If you are not happy with the car, you are entitled to a refund. Please consult the terms and conditions for this guarantee.
When can you deliver the car?
We can deliver the car from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and Weekends from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
